David is a qualified accountant, has a MBA & M. Phil from Bradford University and MSc Training from Leicester University, also qualified clinical hypnotherapist.

Worked at Leeds Met University for 19 years as a Principal Lecturer in Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management.

In August 2004, David was seconded to Bradford city football club to help the club develop its links with the large Pakistan & Bangladeshi community that lives next to the football stadium.
